We saw a tedious, repetitive task—manually copying code from documents—and built a fast, free, and entirely browser-based tool to solve it for everyone.

The Story Behind the Tool

Like many developers, we frequently work with Markdown files, GitHub issues, and online tutorials. The constant need to pull out code snippets was a recurring bottleneck in our workflow. We'd find ourselves painstakingly highlighting, copying, and pasting, often introducing formatting errors along the way. We knew there had to be a better way.

We envisioned a tool that was:

• Instant: No sign-ups, no installations, no waiting. Just paste and go.
• Versatile: Capable of understanding various code block formats, not just standard Markdown.
• Private: All processing had to happen client-side. Your data should never be sent to a server.
• Convenient: The ability to download all files in a single ZIP archive was a must-have.
